In order to limit the spread of Covid-19 virus, the State Social Insurance Agency (SSIA) will provide on-site customer service in an epidemiologically safe environment. (All visitors and SSIA employees have valid interoperable Covid-19 certificates certifying the fact of vaccination or recovery.)
Services will be provided to SSIA customers only by prior appointment. Upon arrival at any customer service centre, you will have to present a personal identity document (passport or ID card) and a valid interoperable vaccination certificate.
SSIA kindly asks its customers to carefully consider the necessity of an on-site visit and to request services electronically:

on the State Service Portal Latvija.lv by using “E-application for SSIA services”,

by sending to the e-mail pasts@vsaa.gov.lv an application signed with a secure electronic signature,

if the person has activated an e-address – by using the e-address on the portal www.latvija.lv and sending an application signed with a secure electronic signature.
Applications can also be sent to the SSIA by post, addressing them to any department of the SSIA.
It is possible to receive consultations by writing to konsultacijas@vsaa.gov.lv or calling 64507020, as well as by contacting any SSIA customer service centre.
When visiting customer service centres, we urge you to be careful and follow the safety measures determined in the State – wear a face mask, maintain a distance of at least two metres from other persons and disinfect your hands.
Residents are prohibited from visiting the SSIA customer service centres if they exhibit signs of a respiratory disease, as well as if self-isolation, home quarantine or strict isolation is determined for them.
