The statement shall contain information on the provisional amount of the old-age pension on the date on which it is intended to retire.
The expected pension shall be calculated using:
• the information at the disposal of the National Social Insurance Agency (NCA) concerning the periods of work of each person and their equivalent until 31 December 1995, registered in the SSIA database or submitted by the person himself to the SAA;
• information on social security contributions actually paid at pension level 1 from 1996, for which information has been received by the SSIA until the calculation was carried out.
The forecast shall not take into account the capital accumulated in the pension level 2 or in the State funded pension scheme, the benefits provided for in the Law on State Pensions and the guaranteed minimum pension amounts. Continuing work will also change the amount of the pension projected after the annual indexation of retirement capital. The amount of the pension to be predicted is informative.
The www.latvija.lv portal restores the data once a week.
Process description
Service requests
To request the service, you must fill in for a particular form submission addressed to the SSIA.
May submit a submission:
• on the www.latvija.lv portal;
• on-site (if requested for service, a personal identification document (passport or ID card) must be produced);
• electronically (the application must be signed with a secure electronic signature containing the time stamp);
• by post.
An application may be submitted in person to any VSAA customer service centre or to the unified customer service centres of the State and local governments.
Receipt of services
The service may be received in person, by post, in the official electronic address or in the portal www.latvija.lv, in accordance with the type of receipt of the information indicated in the application.
