From 1 July 2023, the State Social Insurance Agency (SSAA) will pay a transport allowance of EUR 105 for a full six-month period, regardless of the six-month period for which it is received, to persons with disabilities who have mobility difficulties.
The SSAA pays this benefit twice a year for a six-month period.
Example. In December 2022, after receiving information from the VDEAVK, the SSAA granted the person compensation for transport expenses from 15 November 2022. In January 2023, the person received a benefit of EUR 79.68, paid by the SSAA for the period from 15 November 2022 to 14 May 2023. In July 2023, the new benefit of EUR 105 will be paid by the SSAA for the period from 15 May 2023 to 14 November 2023
